In the new report, online professionals and trainers highlighted how Indian business persons and employees were upskilled from digital marketing to web development during the pandemic. The report showed nearly 80,000 people that are covered employees mainly from metropolitan cities.
Nearly 90% of the workforce from both tier-2 and metro cities have opted to upskill themselves with courses in web development and digital marketing as these sectors are owing relevance in every industry to increase the digitization of businesses.
More than 70% of the business professionals from all the major tier-2 and metro cities pursued courses in web development after the pandemic. They realized the importance as most of the businesses are transitioning and opting for the e-commerce route in order to increase their business sales.
Also, more than 60% of the population working in IT companies have preferred to opt for machine learning, artificial intelligence, data engineering, and cloud-based AWS, Google, Azure, and DevOps after the pandemic. These business professionals mainly belong to both tier-2 and metro cities.
About 45-50% of the talented people from both tier-2 and metro cities chose the business intelligence courses in order to upskill themselves.
About 40% of business professionals have opted and studied courses that belong to big data in order to gather new skills and knowledge as they know the vast scope of segments in various industries for Personalization, Customization, and Data Collection.
Both organizations and individuals are making concerted and hard efforts to resume work for the revival after pandemic times. Upskilling ourselves has become one of the most important elements in the scenario of our current job in India and has become a preference.
